Lynda Wiesmeier is a medical receptionist with aspirations of becoming a star. “All I do is filing, filing and more filing. I love the people there, but the actual work is booooring!” exclaims Lynda. The beautiful, yet bored beauty spends her days at work daydreaming of life as a supermodel. Dreams sometimes do come true and for Lynda, walking to the set of her Miss July 1982 photoshoot was a dream crossing over into the real world. “I love modeling. I get to meet new people and see new places. It’s never the same from one day to the next,” says the voluptuous blonde. Miss Wiesmeier was born in Washington DC, but grew up in Germany due to her father’s work as a US Air Force doctor. When the all-natural, green-eyed beauty eventually returned to the United States after many years, she had a tough time adjusting, especially to the language. “In kindergarten, if you didn't speak German, you didn't have any friends. When I came back to the U.S., everyone made fun of me because I spoke German and didn't speak English,” recalls our Playmate of the Month who insists she never let their bullying bother her. “I don't really worry about anything. I think about things a lot, but I never worry. My parents are very easygoing and I guess I just picked it up from them.” With her parents’ state of mind and her charming personality in her arsenal of tricks, our Miss July 1982 is ready to take on Hollywood and the world of show business. She insists entertaining is her calling in life and not some hobby she’s taken up for fame and monetary reasons. “It would be nice to make a lot of money. I sure don’t have a lot now. But, I’ve met a lot of millionaires who aren’t happy, so money is obviously not the key to happiness. I’d rather do something I’m happy doing than be concerned about money,” explains Lynda. We could think of no one more deserving of our Miss July 1982 title than Lynda Wiesmeier.
