“I like to think my sunny disposition is the first thing people notice about me,” says Miss October 2016, Allie Silva, “but it’s probably in the running for second. The first, of course, is my hair,” she adds with a laugh. Spottable from a lengthy distance, Playmate, Allie’s curly locks come from her Norwegian and African-American heritage. “It’s its own entity,” she laughs. “‘What are you?’ is the question I’m asked most often. I’ll act confused, as if I’m being asked if I’m an alien. I like to respond, ‘I’m a human.’” Now a full-time model, Allie grew up in Connecticut with parents who urged her to finish college before pursuing modeling. “I had a balanced upbringing with parents who have a lot and respect for each other,” she says. In fact, despite her busy traveling lifestyle, Allie loves to visit home and hang with her family as much as possible. “Despite what my Instagram may look like, I’m actually a quiet and somewhat introverted person,” she says. “I like visiting my family and going to the grocery store with my mom, [and] I like watching SportsCenter with my dad.” Learn more about Miss October 2016, Allie, right here on Playboy Plus.
